2011 Summer Internship-Scholarship Program in the Geological Sciences

Internships are designed to educate CSUF undergraduate geology majors about career options in the geological sciences.  Eligibility requirements are such that most geology majors will be eligible at the end of their sophomore year.  Department faculty assist in advertising the paid internship opportunities, reviewing applications, and interviewing applicants.  Interns are paid by the employer and do not receive course credit.  Interns are awarded a $1,000 scholarship upon the successful completion of the summer internship; scholarships are fully funded by the employer but awarded by the Department.

Only current undergraduate geology students at Cal State Fullerton may apply.  Application instructions (including deadlines) are detailed on each advertisement; the CSUF 2011 Scholarship and Awards application can be obtained at the following link: http://www.fullerton.edu/financialaid/scholar/scholarships_default.htm
