Summer 2011

What?

A summer internship with a California environmental company completing various tasks, such as data entry, permit applications for well sampling and drilling, general office and field support.

Where?

Kennedy JenksÕs Irvine office

When?

June 1st to August 19th, 2011;

10-40 hours per week depending on work available

WhatÕs the pay? 

$13.25/hour, with a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded at the successful completion of the 11-week internship

Who is eligible?

CSUF Geology majors in good standing who are interested in pursuing careers in the geological and environmental sciences.

Satisfactory completion of GEOL380 is required;

Completion or current enrollment in GEOL335 is recommended.

How do I apply?

Applications should consist of a cover letter, your resume, and a completed CSUF Award and Scholarship application. In addition, write a <1-page statement addressing your interest in working in the field of environmental geology, and what you would hope to learn from this internship. This statement can be part of your cover letter.
