Bougainvillea’s genus is bougainvillea, and the species is spectabilis. It grows in the area of Amazon rainforest in South America. In addition, it grows in a climate from subtropical to tropical; however, it prefers a tropical climate. Bougainvillea likes to grow in the swampy area. It is ok for it to grow in the area of much water; however, it does not like to hold much of water for long time. The leaves of Bougainvillea have heart-like shape and are dark in green. Its flower can be in different color such as pink, white, or red. Unlike other flowers in different trees, Bougainvillea’s flowers don’t have odor. Moreover, Bougainvillea has many adaptations. It has many hooks to cling and hold on others to support itself. It can be the houseplant to reserve the climate in many residents’ houses. Bougainvillea is very bushy. That’s why it is the shelter for many animals such ants, bugs, snakes, and birds.
