Linne’s Sloth has a common Name as two-toed sloth. Its genus is cholopeus, and the species is didactylus. The Linn's sloth is a very nice animal. It has a white and tan color. The face and the fur is black and dark brown. One of the interesting in Linne’s Sloth is that the fur flows from the front to the back of the animal, and fur is very smooth and fine. This kind of sloth has five claws. Three claws are visible, but others are not visible. The Linn's sloth’s size is about 28 to 29 inches, and its weight is about 9 to 19 pounds in fully-grown. The movement of Linne’s Sloth is so slow because of the extra skin. Looking at the arm, we see that they are long which have two very small claws at the end of their hands. That's why some people call it the two-toed sloth. The head of the Linne’s sloth is about 70 centimeters wide, and the eyes are small. The life of Linne’s Sloth is about 27 to 32 years that is about half-life of human. The Linn's sloth mates any time in a year and only has one baby at a time. The pregnancy period is about ten months. The baby sloth stays with its mother for 5 months. The male sloth plays no part in raising their children. Linn's sloths normally don’t live in a group. Linne’s Sloth defend itself by it claws or climbing on a tree. Food of Linne’s Sloth normally are leaves, bark, buds, fruit, and small animals such as mice, squirrel. However, different types of sloth like different types of leaves and food. Population of Linne is not in danger. However, the forest deformation is the major problem of Linne.
